Anyone else feeling as tho a little iPod music would go well with in game blasting.
There is no way to have game sounds and iPod music at the same time? I would *'scuse the expression* give a nut for this. What othe game features would you like? Spazmo |

Hey Andy,
Not sure what you tried but when I closed the in-game iPod dialogue (after playing my music), the game music immediately faded back in. I render this solution: FAIL (at least for me) Did you do this on an iPhone or an iPod touch? |

I get the idea, and in fact I got my music to play. :-) The kicker is that you cannot have game sounds AND music at the same time. Not a huge thing but still ... |

I completely agree regarding it being easier. This is a total hack and something I just googled for. Maybe in a new version it will be easier.

I think “Space Dragons” or some other non-ship, server controlled, entities that occasionally prey on ships would be fun. Something you could outrun, but might be tough for one ship, even the most powerful, to kill all alone. These could appear randomly for short periods to wreak havoc.
Another thing that would be interesting would be a black hole or two that you have to avoid getting too close to. Perhaps, if you do get sucked in, you would go to another level or dimension of the game: a new universe with different planets, new ships, different cargos and their own separate currencies, so you have to rebuild your credits from zero. Theoretically you could have an infinite number of alternate dimensions, but we don’t want to overtax the game’s developers. A couple more different spaces would be cool though. I'm starting to wonder if we will see any further development of this game. It seems very basic and without even the ability to add extra ships, I doubt they are capable of expanding it much at all.

Oh come now, thats not really being fair, the developers cant survive on Omniverse profits alone, theyre going to be very busy with real life. And you cant say that theyve made no progress, omniverse is a budding RPG still crossing the final frontier. Give it a chance eh? Sorry to rant :S

Well I've heard above that the devs somehow can't put new ships in-game... I don't see why not, unless it's some sort of code fail, but that's besides the point.
I'd like to see more ships, the avarice, a different look to the avarice and a better paint system (also clearer). I'd like to see npc ships that randomly fly around killing ships (they should be more powerful than the average ship too. That way everybody can still get owned even with really good ships. Although they should still be killable. I'd like to see more galaxies and worm holes that take you to them. They can have planets and ships. As I mentioned above, I'd like to see more ships. I find it nice to strive for better and better ships but right now it's mammon and then be somewhat bored until black star... I'd like to see more in between ships and then more ships past black star. I'd like to see upgrades going up to rank IV. I'd love it if the mammon had better accel, it's rockets are huge after all and the way they're pointed according to physics, suggests faster speed gain. The smallest ship should have 100 accel, 200 max speed and whatever turning seems useful. I doubt noobs like mammons gaing on them at four thirds their speed. And then owning them up in two hits... Other than that, the game rox but I can't fathom why new ships can't be implemented... Great work! |
